After 01:30 you find footage about the season 2012 from Hillclimb in Ayent-Anzere und again Massongex. The car was much more modified in season 2012, compare the sound! Additinal notes from Valetin (added 11th March 2013, translated to english): I bougth this car for my passion in mechanic cars. I work in chemistry ... Massongex 2011 was the first hill climb of my life .. not much experince! In 2011 the car developed 420hp and winter 2011-2012 I changed manifolds of the intake and Exhaust camshafts and turbo. This helped me out 580hp. The engine is a CA18DET 1.8l. I ride primarily for the pleasure. For 2013 I will update my Nissan 200sx with a 6-speed sequential box one. (French, original text from Valentin) J'ai monté cette voiture moi même par passion de la mécanique. je travaille dans la chimie... Massongex 2011 était la première course de côte de ma vie.. donc pas encore beaucoup d'expérince! En 2011 la voiture développait 420hp puis durant l'hiver 2011-2012 j'ai changé les collecteurs d'admission et d'échappement les arbres à cames ainsi que le turbo. Cela m'a permis de sortir 580hp du moteur CA18DET de 1.8l de cylindrée. Je roule avant tout pour le plaisir de conduire une voiture différente des autres et sans la prétention d'être dans les meilleures. What do you get when you cross a rusted 1971 Datsun 240Z with a Chevy 4.3L V6 and a turbo from a Ford Power Stroke Diesel? The Rotsun! During Roadkill Episode 25, Freiburger and Finnegan revived the Rotsun expecting it to dominate in the 9-car autocross showdown of previous Roadkill project cars. It also needed to beat a 2014 Kia Rio 5, but failed to do so with the Rotsun shamefully breaking down before completing a decent lap. So in this episode: revenge. After swapping in the mismatched turbo and making nearly 400 rear-wheel horsepower, the guys head to the autocross at the Goodguys 5th Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona and mingle with fans on their way to a rematch with that dastardly Kia. 450hp LS1 1978 Datsun 280Z
One of the coolest imports I've had the opportunity to see in action, this extremely streetable 1978 Datsun 280z takes it's first trip to the drag strip to do some testing. The car has an LS1 with heads, cam, and FAST intake manifold putting down around 450 wheel horsepower! Best 1/8 mile time was 7.11 for the night.
