Mallory 290712 Classic Thunder
Mallory Park 29 July 2012, footage from practice and both races of the Sub-Zero Wolf Classic Thunder Championship. The mighty blue Skyline R32 of Mark Biggers is the winner of both races, the yellow/white R32 of Darren Bly, white M3 of Garrie Whittaker, blue supercharged M3 of Dan Stringfellow, familiar Lotus Sunbeam of Joss Ronchetti and orange Mazda RX7 of Paul Dobson give chase. Start of the second race it was raining, and Colin Tester had his second off of the meeting on a damp Gerrards, heading for Nuneaton on the first lap as everyone else followed the circuit round onto the Stebbe Straight. This race was stopped after 11 laps due to a shunt at Shaw's Hairpin, maybe someone filmed this? Yes, they did, thanks to damienp1999 for the upload, watch it here at;

Cradle Coast Rally 2012. V8 XE Ford Falcon. Hellyer Gorge 1
Cradle Coast Rally was a short one day rally held on the last weekend in February 2012. Some classic stages including Savage River and Hellyer Gorge which is also a stage in Targa Tasmania. The run was not 100% smooth for us with fuel issues due to the heat and a dropped lifter for the biggest stage of the event, but we have FINALLY put some better rubber on the wheels and upgraded the brakes from the factory ones we had run at every event till now. Loved the new Yokohama Advan Neova tyres and many thanks to Yokohama and Legana Tyres and More for those. Again many thanks to Craig "Wheelie" Milich for being there when we needed him and creating a car for us that never under-steered, unlike the made up silver Merc with a huge Chev engine as shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YiCkoMNB-s&feature=g-all-u&context=G257800cFAAAAAAAAAAA This is a good example of a car that does not handle well. I have turned down driving lessons offered to me by this driver, this footage and comparative times I think make it clear why.

Mallory Park 2011 Andy Robinson Ford Falcon v8 supercar in CTCRC's Classic Thunder RACE 1
PWR built 1999 Falcon TURN YOUR TELLY UP !!
Poor start, Had to defend heavy on several laps into the hairpin- cars weakest spot, spool diff causing wheels to skip round & then as coming off the corner
too fast for 1st gear & bog down in 2nd
Lots of traffic, making it quite a wild drive (fun but fairly dangerous) & causing the gaps between the car infront & one behind to come & go
was going to edit it down but something happening on most laps, so I can bore you with the full race
started 2nd finshed 2nd 4 secs off lead
How to Drive Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park DVD sample.mpg
Mark Hales- How to Drive circuit guides, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park.
Mark Hales is a leading racing journalist who has been successfully competing at all levels of European motorsport for the last 30 years. He is a multiple national champion in sports cars, saloons and GTs and more recently a prolific winner in a variety of historic machinery; he has won over 150 races. In addition to his racing and writing Mark also runs a number of very popular racing master classes
During 2008 Mark in conjunction with Goldstar Onboard made a series of tutorial DVD's aimed at the club racers who wanted to improve their lap times at 4 of Britain's most popular circuits.
How to Drive is a unique product which takes circuit instruction to a new dimension How to Drive... uses exclusive new technology to sit you in the seat and show you what the track really looks like. How to drive takes the lap apart, slows it down, speeds it up and flattens it out wherever it is necessary, to give you a better understanding of the track and how best to drive it. Using How to Drive... is like being there, sitting alongside an experienced tutor, at a fraction of the cost...
How to Drive is an exclusive preview to the track with guidance as to the best lines through the corners, but it also explains a little of why a particular line is as it is. This is something your on-screen tutor Mark Hales believes is essential to learning the way round; if you know why, then you can more easily work out how. If you have never been to a particular circuit, or are having trouble with a particular part of the lap, How to Drive. will point you in the right direction.
Used throughout the DVD is Goldstar onboard footage shot from a track-day favourite in the shape of a Caterham R300 Superlight, together with an extensive corner by corner guide. You can choose from the menu whether to play the lap continuously or to watch the corner by corner analysis with its extensive commentary and additional Racecam angles. There is also a ride round the same circuit in a top-spec Porsche road car, and a virtual race which will allow you to compare the cornering, braking and acceleration of two very different cars.
How to Drive is a unique insight and the quickest way to a better/fastest lap.
Circuits covered Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park, Snetterton £27 each plus vat
