Congratulations to Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) and English Racing. They have (once again) carved themselves out a place in the history of speed. The venue for this prolific undertaking was the ShiftS3ctor/Revolution Pike’s Peak Airstrip Attack in Colorado. Hello drag racing fans and speed aficionados of every variety. Join me in congratulating Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) and English Racing as they (once again) shatter the world record 1/4-mile with a pass of 8.48-seconds @ 164.1 mph. The crew had the little sedan running in the 8.5-second range the entire event (TX2K17) and finally hit the right spot for a blow out pass in the latter stages. Well, it seems that the Nissan GT-R 1/4-mile U.S. record battle has jumped off as expected. Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS), one of the world’s leading experts in turbocharged high-performance research and development, has posted a new U.S. record 1/4-mile pass of 7.32-seconds @ 196 mph.
