Big Turbo Jeep Wins Extreme Roll Racing Class

December 7th, 2023

It ain’t a Trackhawk but it is fast. This Jeep Grand Cherokee is turning heads and breaking hearts when he posts a top speed of 154 mph during qualifying rounds of the Extreme Roll Racing Class. With a number like that, 1320 Video wandered down to the pits to see what was cooking under the hood of this SUV.

Not a Trackhawk, this all-wheel drive Jeep is powered by a built 426 cubic-inch HEMI with a massive (94-millimeter) turbo. The transmission and rear end are also upgraded to accommodate all the extra horsepower. This thing is scary fast. After competing in the roll racing, this Jeep will be quickly transformed for the drag races.

After qualifying in the top spot (160.54 mph) for the Extreme Roll Racing Class, the high-flying Jeep takes a first-round win against a boosted Mustang with a 157.36 mph run. He takes out a pair of twin turbo Audi R8s with consecutive 155+ mph passes to win the Class.

Up bright and early for some drag racing, the Jeep posts an opening pass of 9.26-seconds @ 157.34 mph.

Round 2 pits the Jeep against a supercharged Ford Mustang GT500. With a run of 9.09-seconds @ 157.93 mph, the heavy Jeep gaptizes the Mustang in Mopar flavored molasses.

This Jeep is for real. Can he accomplish an 8-second pass? Can he hang-in until the end and take home the money? Keep watching and find out.
