650s-vs-12c-tuned

Check out these 3 races of a modified McLaren MP4-12C Coupe running against a stock McLaren 650S Spider.  The MP4-12C has an AMS tune which bumps the power from 616HP to 716HP and a set of downpipes from TR3 Performance which should add some more power.  The 650S is stock with no modifications and comes with 641HP from the factory.

The races were closer than we thought considering the added weight of the 650S Spider over that of the MP4-12C Coupe (88 pounds) along with the extra horsepower from the modifications.

In the first race the 650S gets a slight jump and stays ahead the entire time.  In the 2nd race the MP4-12C gets a very large jump and stays ahead.  The 3rd races is a pretty even start with the two cars pretty much even most of the race with the MP4-12C pulling about 1 car ahead towards the end at a very high speed.
