You have to love hand-me-downs like this pretty 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This work in progress has been owned by members of the same family for more than two decades. In that time, it has gone from being a weekend street warrior (with a bench seat and a column shifter) to the turbocharged work of art that you see in this video. It’s a 1967 Chevrolet Nova (also known as a Chevy II) and this green machine is built specifically for blowing the competition completely off the track. The big green monster features a 672-cubic-inch engine with Big Chief cylinder heads and a pair of Pro Mod 88-millimeter turbochargers. It has an ice water intercooler and a turbo glide transmission.
