Did you ever wonder what kind of a car a sheik would have? Well, wonder no more – this clip shows us a brand new C7 Corvette that has made a 1/4-mile pass at 5.73-seconds and 249.9 mph. Now that’s fast!

Of course the car is professionally built and maintained by Al Anabi Performance (AAP) out of Doha, Qatar.

It features a 521-cubic-inch Brad Anderson Racing engine, a Chuck Ford supercharger and injectors, and a Lenco transmission. This thing runs on Methanol and is producing approximately 3,000hp. This video is filmed at the Qatar Racing Center and catches some awesome heads-up racing, including a world record (Pro Mod) pass.
