Today, it will be taking on the world in closed track contests that include roll and dig races. Spoiler alert: This thing is deadly from the dig!
First up is a motorcycle. It is the legendary 2012 Suzuki Hayabusa with full bolt-ons. In typical fashion, the Tesla takes the hole-shot but the bike quickly pulls him back in. ‘Busa FTW.
The next challenger, built by Signature Autohaus (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), is a 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona SRT. It features a 392 HEMI with full bolt-ons and a Track Tune by HEMI Fever. It dynoed at 594hp to the rear wheels. The Mopar gets wasted in a dig race.
The first roll race introduces us to a stock 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo (370-380whp). From 25 mph, the Tesla takes the victory by a narrow margin.
Finally, we have a 2015 Nissan GT-R with a few modifications. The intake manifold and exhaust down-pipe/mid-pipe have been replaced with aftermarket performance pieces. It can produce 590whp. Even from the dig, Godzilla was too much for the SUV.
There are numerous other challengers; including a Cadillac CTS-V and a Lamborghini Huracan. Can this plain looking hatchback continue to hang with this kind of competition? Have a look and find out.
