Real Street Rolls in the 405

Anyone who has turned a television on in the last three-years knows about the street racing scene in Oklahoma City. We also know that television programming is not always what it seems. So, where can you check out some real street racing from OKC? Right here!

This is real street (roll) racing from the streets of Oklahoma (Mexico). Nothing is staged here; you will experience all the sights and sounds associated with a night of street racing on the highway.

If you want a diverse group of street racers, look no further. You’ve got everything here from a rotary powered Mazda with a giant turbo to a Cadillac on so much nitrous that you can almost taste it.

It all jumps off with a great looking Mazda RX7. Despite having a tiny (1.6-liter) engine, this turbocharged import makes 600hp. The Mazda takes on a Cadillac CTS V with all its cubic inches and wins multiple passes.

Next, we have a 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang with a Whipple 2.9-liter supercharger. The Ford demolishes a Corvette Z06 with unknown modifications.

There’s tons more street racing action in this well produced video from the 405. Have a look.
