thats how ya launch a car.....gj

(Jim)
watched this car friday night in the 1/8 and it is just unreal how fast it is for what it has done to it.

(zman)
I agree. I ran this car Friday night and I ran a 6.77 in the 1/8th and barely won. He can drive, he got me at the light. I would guess he is 7 secs, or even high 6's. Nice older guy.

(Johnny Unitas)
Nice car! You know how to mod a mod motor! Sorry to hear about the motor going, but Im sure she will be back and faster than ever. Good luck with it and have fun!

(Mike Farrell)
Glad to hear your motor work is all done! Saw it at Strictly a few times getting worked on. I hope this new setup works out perfectly!

Hi Tom, from the looks of things it seems you do all your own auto work. You have done an awsome job on your stang. If possible I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I own a 2004 mustang cobra and everyone seems to have a different opinion on whether or not I am able to fit 10.5 rims on the rear wheels without having to do any modifications. Do you know the answer to this?

(Tom)
To clear things up concerning the previous comment. I wish I could do my own work, but it ant gonna happen. I don't know near enough to even attempt to work on my car except basic stuff. It is all done by Strictlly Perf. here in Houston. Tx.

(George Pepper)
Very nice. Are you lifting at the end of the 1/4 because of the gears?

New motor installed Feb 2008. Ran first time 3/15/08.
Did not use NOS. On just motor ran consistant 10:40's four
times in a row.Makes more power and torque than old Motor. This one was built right. Ran Friday night 3/21/08 sprayed 50 HP shot on one pass and posted a 10.012 @ 127 MPH. MPH is low as had to get out before the end of 1/4 on NOS because with 4.10 gear she was tacked out at about 100 feet from fininsh line. Also tacks out on just Motor with 4.10 Gear. Changed to 3.55 this week. Tuner thinks this will work better. I wanted to try 3.73 so we will see.

Ran this past Friday night was told not to go faster than an 11.50 or off the Track I go. I HAVE ONLY ROLL BAR NO CAGE.
I made 1st pass and tried to get out just enough after the 1/8th, ran an 11.60, but the 1/8th was 6.672 which shows a drop of with the 3.55 gear, and also my 60 ft. dropped to only 1.61. Next pass about the same through the 1/8, I peddeled in 3rd gear, but still ran a 10.893 so they threw me off the track.I guess if I want to run in the 1/4 it is Cage time.I now am sure the 3.55 is not enough gear for 1/4 so will try the 3.73.
