The 2020 version of the Mustang GT is a front-engine rear-wheel drive coupe that weighs approximately 3,800-pounds. The car featured in this video has been upgraded for performance purposes. Modifications include a Hellion 6266 twin turbocharger kit, performance tuning and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Maximum output is estimated to be 650+ hp.
In the other lane, the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C is a rear-engine all-wheel drive supercar equipped with a twin turbo 3.8-liter V8 from the factory. The MP4-12C weighs only 3,100-pounds in stock trim. This particular McLaren has been modified with a set of performance exhaust downpipes and an E85 tune. It’s also wearing Michelin Pilot Sport skins.
