McLaren 570S vs. Mustang Shelby GT500 – Street Hits

March 13th, 2020

Where do you think all the competitors go when the track closes during TX2K20? They turn out on the streets (of Mexico) for some roll racing action under the moonlight. It’s early in the weekend but there are some heavy hitters on hand for this night of roll racing on the interstate. Buckle up and get ready to race.

Our camera car is a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 with a camshaft upgrade. It is running E85 fuel and is capable of producing 800hp. In maroon, it looks great, too.

As we roll out of the parking lot and onto the interstate, the butterflies begin to flutter. First up is a VMP supercharged S500 Mustang that can make 780hp. This should be a tight race. In multiple passes, the maroon car wins.

Next up, we roll out against a C7 Corvette with a Procharger. This bad bowtie is maxed out at 1,000hp. Wow! As expected, the ‘Vette was a bit much for the maroon car to handle. C7 FTW.

Finally, we tackle a McLaren 570S. This thing just looks really fast. Let’s see. Setup by DME Tuning, the McLaren is bound to be fast. In multiple hits, the McLaren walks away like a British superstar.

More racing action on this video. Have a gander for yourself.
