ClutchInstall Info
Unless using a new flywheel provided by SPEC,the existing unit must be resurfaced prior toinstallation of the clutch product to ensureintegrity of friction surface. Owner must alsobreak in the new high performance clutch for aminimum of 500 miles, primarily city and/orstop-and-go driving, before full throttleengagement, drag launching or power shifting.Failure to properly install and break in yourclutch will create chatter and slipping, plus itwill void the manufacturer\'s warranty. Unlessotherwise instructed by written notice fromSPEC, follow manufacturers instructions wheninstalling clutch and flywheel products. SPECrecommends that all bolts be inspected beforere-installation, and any bolts that have beenremoved and re-torqued multiple times should bereplaced.
