FOR THOSE SALEEN FANS OUT THERE, HERE IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF THE SALEEN WHEELS WE HAVE EVER OFFERED OUT OF OUR PRIVATE COLLECTION AND NOT SOMETHING TOO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE HAVE HAD PRIVY OF GETTING AND OR ACQUIRING.
WHAT WE HAVE OFFERED HERE IS AN ORIGINAL AND VERY RARE 1999/2000 SALEEN SR MUSTANG (WIDEBODY) STREET VERSION FRONT 18\" RACE WHEEL AND WAS SOMETHING THAT HAS HISTORY ASSOCIATED WITH THE ALL WHITE SALEEN SR MUSTANG THAT WAS PRODUCED AS A PROTOTYPE VEHICLE AT THE TIME BACK IN THAT ERA 1999/2000. This Actual wheel was considered the Spare for that Awesome Saleen SR Mustang Street Version car in the past. (See last posted picture used as a reference-Car in picture not included).
This is a Rare Saleen SR STREET VERSION Wheel, and we are guessing a few Saleen People out there know what this is, but relate it to the ones that were equipped on the Saleen SR Mustangs that were used on the Race Circuit to compete for the SCCA Manufactures Championships back in that era and years of Saleen Racing.
In 2004-2005 Saleen offered 50 of the Original Saleen SR MUSTANG Race wheels that were All Yellow in colorationand had actual race history being used on the Saleen Mustang Race cars that were in competition through 1996-2000. All 50 of those Saleen SR wheels offered by Saleen were originally used on the Saleen Race Cars of the Past before they were offered. They were all tagged with a Saleen Engine Bay Plaque and numbered 1 through 50 and were all hand signed by Steve Saleen. The Wheels offered to the General Public were various width sizes, but all 18\" and a couple different makes of the SR wheel. All those wheels wheels were rendered useless internally by Saleen before offering any of them to the public so they could not be used on any driven vehicle for liability reasons.Most People who have those wheels did not know this fact! Those wheels have always been sought after by collectors and have fetched prices of anywhere from $395-$695 depending on wheel type, size and number it was assigned.
First off, this is Not one of those Non-Functional Man Cave Wall Art Race Wheels, this actual wheel can be used and was again something associated specifically with the White Colored Variation of the Street Version Saleen SR Mustang as seen. (We actually own the RARE Original Complete Set of SR WHITE Wheels that are seen equipped on that car long ago before they were removed off it and sold for a very high value in the past at that time-that wheel set in our personal collection and is not offered here) Only this Single as seen is offered!

We have never offered something like this to the General Public since we acquired it long ago and have never seen anything like this offered on the Internet anywhere! Is this the type of Saleen Item/Part for every one? Absolutely not, but for some Private Saleen Collectors out there or Owners whom have the actual Street Version SR Cars which are kept in private collections, then this item may catch there eye and interest them.
