Ford FMX Pro-Series Master Rebuild Kit used in 1968-81 Mustang, T-Bird, Ranchero and many others. Note: Do not confuse this transmission with a Small Case Cruise-o-Matic, Medium Case Cruise-o-Matic, Large Case Cruise-o-Matic, BW-8 or BW-12. The easiest way to identify the FMX is count the transmission pan bolts. There are 14. Also look at where the dipstick filler tube goes in to the transmission. The FMX tube goes into a hole in the transmission case near the pan rail. It DOES NOT screw into the pan.
