He was a master at his craft with Mustangs and Vehicles in general and a close friend who will be forever missed by us! This was something Produced by Chicane Sport Tuning Long ago and something we acquired from him back in 2009 stored in a climate controlled storage for many years. This was one of the Chicane Performance Products that he exclusively offered from his shop long ago and something that has not been offered and or produced for many years since he has been gone. He originally offered ONLY THE STAINLESS STEEL NATURAL COLORATION SET on his Website and at his shop long ago. These High Performance Quality Lines are Made with BLACK COLORED Stainless Steel Braided Lines and BLACK Fitting Ends are pressure tested to a maximum rating of 1000 PSI (The Original Stock Rubber Intercooler Hoses are only 250 PSI to give you an idea and can collapse under pressure over time and mileage.) These Hoses have that High Performance modern look and are a big improvement over the stock Saleen Hoses equipped from the factory!
What we have offered here is a JG Chicane 1999 through 2004 Saleen Series I-IV Supercharged Mustang BLACK COLORED STAINLESS STEEL Braided Performance Intercooler Hose Line set (4 Hoses in the Set-As Seen) With Black End Fittings in Excellent NOS Condition. This JG Chicane Set is a direct replacement for your cars stock hoses. Same size, lengths and end size attachment areas.
Due to age and normal wear & tear, the Stock Saleen Intercooler Rubber Hose lines tend become brittle and break over time and or also swell, Collapse under line pressure and get blocked up with hardened sediment impeding/restricting critical flow to the Saleen's Supercharger Intercooler in the base of the manifold which directly affects IAT (Inlet Air Temperatures) by raising them. When this occurs it hurts the performance of your Supercharger and can be crucial in the life of your blower and engine equipped in your ride. The Saleen Mustangs out there equipped with these Saleen Series I-IV Superchargers are 22-17 year old vehicles now, what kind of sediment do you think you have sitting in your stock lines at this point? Is your cars Intercooler Temp gauge shot high temps? Hose line flow impeded to the intercooler sitting in the manifold would be one possible reason why your ride isn't performing like it should.
