This listing is for a set of Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts that are 3/4 inch long (1inch, 1 1/4 inch, 12 point, and Stainless Steel also available) and are designed for a 1979-1995 Mustang GT, LX, or Cobra 5.0 V8. These are a must whenadding long or short tube style headers!Standard non-locking nuts and bolts are prone to backing off due toexposure to multiple heat cycles. Headerbolts backing out can lead to header gaskets blowing out and causing a timelyand expensive replacement. We havepersonally used and re-used Stage 8 locking header bolts for over 10 years ondrag and road race cars and have never experience a single bolt backing out or a blownheader gasket.
