This Pontiac 461 Crate StrokerEngine by Blue Monkey Performance would be EXCELLENT to bring your Firebird, Trans Am, Tempest, GTO/Goat, LeMans, Tempest, Grand Am, Catalina, Bonneville, Tempest or etc to life! This engine is custom built and can be built with a smooth or semi rough muscle car idle. If you are using an A/T, a stock or higher stall speed converter can be used depending on how you have us build the engine.
Estimated power between 380 and 425HP depending on how you have us build the engine.
A higher stall speed is recommended. Specific stall speed will vary depending on what cam is used for your application and use.The balanced rotating assembly includes:
- 4.250\" stroke crank
- 6.800\" I-beam rods
- This engine will run on Premium pump gas
More special features of this engine include:
- New Forged pistons
- Deck head gasket surface on block to ensure a good seal
- New Hydraulic flat tappet cam
- Cast iron Pontiac heads
- 1.440\" High performance valve springs set up to match camshaft
- New Chrome moly Comp Magnum roller tip rockers and push rods
- New Double row timing set
- New Melling Oil pump
- New Brass expansion plugs
- New Edelbrock Performer or Performer RPM intake manifold if you have room under hood for taller height intake manifold.
- All parts are painted separately before assembly for that show quality look
This engine comes completely assembled with oil pan, timing cover, harmonic balancer, valve covers, and Edelbrock intake manifold.
Engine can be built with medium height valve covers at no extra charge. This chrome valve covers allow you to use your extisting brackets and will clear your power brake unit.
