ITEM DESCRIPTION: SAVE BIG on thes BRAND NEW Torque Boxes, Pair for 1965-70 Mustang & 1969-70 Cougar Coupe & Fastback. This is the 3-sided section of the frame visible to the rear of each front wheel. Heavy throttle transfers torque through the chassis, twisting the frame. Metal fatigue & rust weaken this part, causing body flex. Coupe & Fastback Torque Boxes included in this kit. Convertibles use a different torque box. Fits 1965-68, for 1967-70 may need a hole drilled in LH box for hand brake cable/fuel line. Fits 1971-73 models w/ mods. 14 gauge steel. (A117)
