After a dramatic crash that left Tina’s previous ride in tatters, she opted to go with a big block engine and a pair of turbochargers (in the bed) of her new truck. The square-nosed Colorado provides the perfect first impression for any race truck and the rose-wine color is stunning.
This is the maiden voyage for Tina’s new truck and RMRW is quite a challenge; with four drag strips in five-days accompanied by a 1,000-mile road trip (utility trailer in tow). Honestly, it’s a dubious test on a proven car but on an unproven one – who knows what will happen.
Proving that she needed a truck bed to haul around her bad luck, Tina had problems with everything from the dash rattling off into the floor to severe wheel hop to a runaway travel trailer on a public thoroughfare.
After all is said and done, Tina is a great driver, this is a pretty consistent truck after all the bugs are worked out, and winning the Overall Event Title (and $15k) soothes a lot of aches and pains. Congratulations to Tina and crew and we look forward to seeing y’all at Outlaw Armageddon.
