On the business end of this 2014 pony car is a (5.0-liter) Gen II short block with a set of Gen I cylinder heads. It has a BOSS 302 intake manifold and a 66-millimeter turbocharger. ID 1000 fuel injectors and twin Walbro 465 pumps ensure that the heavy-breathing engine gets all the fuel it needs. Brian is running a stock ECU, tuned by Li Tuning and Racing. The transmission is a Tremec TR6060 and the rear end is loaded with a Strange 35-spline carrier and axles. Best E.T. in the quarter-mile? A 9.46-second pass @ 153 mph (it’s on this clip).
This production has it all – drag races, roll races and even some dyno testing. If you like Mustangs and going fast, you will love this video.
