Owner Mike Slaviero’s family purchased this car new, and it has remained in his family ever since. It has been a race car for many years, but a recent update really captured our attention. The old cast iron 455 was removed and a BES built Pontiac 535 cubic-inch mill took its place. It is naturally aspirated with a QuickFuel carburetor and a Fuel Lab fuel supply/regulator setup. The transmission is a built TH400 automatic. It has Weld wheels with 10.5-inch (wide) rear tires. The old girl tips the scale at 3,900-pounds.
The interior is factory – with the exception of a full roll cage, no windshield wipers and no climate control. The exterior is immaculate – with the exception of the bulging hood – and the exhaust note is positively wonderful. Great car.
