Additional parts, modifications, upgrades & information: (0-60, weight, upgrades parts, ect...) I had a 396 laying around my garage from a 1967 Pontiac Laurentian, it was called a 325 horse Pontiac Astrojet A two bolt mains. It seemed a better start for racing than the 430 Wildcat motor I had in the other corner, no Buick purist here...HAHAHA. My first and only trip down the track I ripped out the driveshaft and transmission housing 7/8 to 9/10ths down the track at 5800 RPM. From there I coasted through the traps, still haven't repaired to date. Never got to fire off the NO2. Lots left in her potentially.
