Street Racing Channel at War in the Woods 8

The Street Racing Channel (SRC) crew showed up and showed out at War in the Woods 8. Eldest son Billy TH3KID piloted his big block twin turbo Nova; with his S-10 still broken. Younger brother Tommy 2GUNS was in the LS twin turbo Ford Falcon. Dad (Old Man’s Garage) was relegated to pit duties with his G-Body laid up awaiting an engine overhaul.

War in the Woods, held at the Brown County Drag Strip in rural Indiana, draws some of the biggest names in No Prep Racing. With Limpy on the Light, you know the action is going to be intense. To thicken the mix, SRC ally Jimmy Dale is on hand stirring-up the shinola. Brace yourself!

Billy is the first SRC member to tow the line. He’s drawn a serious looking Nissan GT-R. Despite finding himself in the treacherous right lane, Billy pulls off a decisive victory and chalks up a first-round win.

Tommy is up next in round-one. He’s in the right lane against a Fox Body Mustang. As the SRC family stand at the starting line, Tommy launches and cuts a clean light. He posts a near-perfect pass and records another SRC win.

With both SRC brothers advancing to the next round, Jimmy Dale rolls to the line in his Magic Johnson (Ford powered) Fox Body Mustang. Of course, it’s got nitrous and Jimmy Dale ain’t bashful about using it. He wins the round-one race. Question is: How bad has he hurt the new motor?

Lots more No Prep Drag Racing – and drama – on this clip.
