Cash Days on the Hill – SRC for the Win

July 8th, 2022

You know you’ve made it to big time No Prep/Street Racing when Limpy is on the light. KD Motorsports Park in Ohio is a unique venue – and that is putting it politely. The eighth-mile is neither flat nor level. Its close confines present numerous challenges to racers at any level of experience. It is easy to see why locals refer to this dragstrip as “The Hill”. This video documents the very first Cash Days No Prep event to be held at KD Dragway and focuses on the Street Racing Channel (SRC) crew.

Competing for the SRC crew are Billy TH3KID in his twin turbo Chevy S-10 and Tommy Gun in his Ford Falcon. With $13k on the line, these guys are serious about getting from A to B in one quick hurry. Since this is their local track, they may be at a bit of an advantage. We’ll see.

Older brother Billy is the first member of the SRC crew to toe the line. He’s going against a Ford Fairmont sedan that don’t look fast. Proving that looks can be deceiving, the Ford cuts a crisp light and blasts out of the hole. It looks like Billy is done for the evening when the Fairmont knocks the tires off and goes squirrelly. The driver can’t recover, and Billy takes the win. On to Round 2.

Kid brother Tommy is up next. He draws a Fox Body Mustang and jumps on him like a tick on a June bug. Tommy easily moves on to the second round.

Many more rounds of No Prep action here. The SRC team came to win!
