2022 Chevy Camaro LT1 vs. MK4 Toyota Supra Turbo – Street Hits

Here we have a matchup on the streets of Mexico. The apple of every Toyota enthusiast’s eye is the MK4 Supra. Tonight – in this video – a modified Supra will be rolling out against a top tier Chevrolet. Let’s see what these two contraptions have to offer.

The 2022 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 is a rear-wheel drive coupe powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine that can muster 455hp and 455 lb.-ft. of torque in stock trim. The Camaro can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 12.2-seconds @ 118 mph. Tipping the scale at 3,788-pounds, the Camaro LT1 comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. While there are varying opinions about the modifications for this car, the owner claims full bolt-ons, a camshaft upgrade and upgraded cylinder heads. It also has lightweight Weld wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber.

In the other lane is the 1995 (MK4) Toyota Supra. Under the hood is an inline 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine upgraded with aftermarket bolt-ons. The turbocharger is a Borg-Warner S366 with a healthy intercooler. Shifting duties are left to a 6-speed gearbox from a Nissan 350Z and the tires are Nitto 555s. He’s claiming 630whp.

It’s time to jump out on the highway.
