i think that is assume wat the ranger does in the 1/4 mile! but i have a question, i have a ranger 89 and i am tring to find out if a 92-94 mustang 5.0L engine, with the tranny of the stang, fit in my truck, its a 4cylinder ranger. do you know if it will work?

hey, what kind of engine mounts did you use, and also did you have to do anything to the tranmission mounts in order for the engine and trans to fit? and what did you do about the ECM and computer?

Nick I made my own mounts. Google V8 Ranger you will find some very good sites. But I've heard you can use Mustang mounts. The transmission mounts in the stock location and I used a Energy Suspensions 79 - 93 Mustang trans mount. I'm running a carb so I'm not using an ECM.

What diff are you running and was it narrowed, if so how much? Are you pinion centered or offset?

Hi I ran an 8.8 out of a mustang.Stock width. I did have a four link setup. Which really help alot.

In the picture I have stock rims on the front. I did a 5 bolt conversion on the mustang diff and used some Jeep rims with 5.5 in of back spacing.
