Nice car I am working on a 63 now haveing trouble with the shifting linkage bar there is a ball or a bracket that bolts back to th bell houseing on the tramsmission that hold the shifting bracket in place to stablize it do you have any idea what that look like or where I can get one Thanks

I have a 63 sport.
Wondering how to tell a 63 fairlane is an original thunderbolt car? Is it a k in the vin number? whiche caracter in the vin # (I.E. the 8th letter or number? Thanks for your help!

the Thunderbolt didn't come out until the 64 model year
Sorry no such thing as a 63 T-Bolt, although some people do model their 63's after the T-bolt, there aren't many differences between the 63 and 64 cars other than the rear quarters

Actually,Tasca Ford did a '63 Fairlane in T-Bolt style. Here is a picture:

I am looking into a 62. Like the lines of them better. Only thing is I cant tell if they just changed sheet metal and interior or if any of the suspension / brakes are different as well.

Have a 63 post with striked 351w and C-4 w/brake and 4 link with coilovers tubbed and still has orignal back seat tat is not an easy task. Has anyone done the mustang II front suspension swap on their 63-64 and if so how well did it turn out as in any complaints??
