First day out after the transmission conversion, also my first day out with slicks! Huge reduction in 60', mainly due to the better tires. I can now launch and shift harder, now that i no longer have to fear the transmission exploding on me! For the swap I had to use a custom adapter plate and clutch, plus an assortment of various toyota and mazda parts. I had to build all new transmission and engine mounts in order to get it to bolt in, but it's damn near bullet proof now. In the spring i'll finally get a real dyno tune, i'm hoping to get my time down to 11.50 next year!
