| This was the first time i raced this car and at the time, it was pure stock. It was on memorial day weekend '99 and track temps were over 100 degrees. I was amazed when i turned a 1/4 mile time under 15 sec and even on one run, i took a 95 stang. Since i ran, i have custom installed a ZR-1 style vette exauhst which increased power so much that simple attempts at full throttle would actually disable traction control causing me to have to restart the car. Future mods include K&N, new ignition coils, new wires, and possibly a shot of NOS(so far i found a dry system that would work safely). I hope to get the car into the 13's by spring of 2000. Any other perforamnce advice would be greatly appreciated. |
