The twin turbo Dodge Viper is a bit of a Frankenstein. Garage-built by the owner, this snake has the best of everybody. The engine is built by Late Model Engines (LME) and the sequentially shifted transmission is put together by Calvo Motorsports. The turbo kit if from RSI (Racing Solutions) and features a pair of Precision turbines. Detuned to 1,100hp, this Viper is poised and ready to strike.
First, the Viper will be taking on a McLaren 720S with few mods. The British beauty is looking good, but she’s heavily outmatched and gets gaptized in the initial hit. The Dodge has mechanical issues after that and it’s a series of DNFs.
With the problem rectified, the Dodge is out against a 900hp (supercharged 6.2-liter V8) Camaro ZL1. The Chevy is pretty fast, but he can’t hang with the twin turbo 8-liter V10 in the Viper. Dodge FTW!
A twin turbo Coyote powered Mustang is next. Whaddaya think? Can the Mustang give the Viper a run for it’s money?
There’s a BMW S1000RR street bike waiting in the wings to challenge the mighty Viper next.
