Up for sale is a used set of opening vent window to various MK1 VW cars. These were removed from a 1988 Cabriolet, but they will fit any of the following:1975-1984 Rabbit, Pickup and GTI
1980-1984 Jetta and GLI
1980-1984 Rabbit Convertible
1985-1993 CabrioletAnyways, these are the bolt-thru style. They\'re a nice upgrade from the original glued ones used on the US-market cars, and they are a direct replacement for the fixed windows used on many MK1 cars, including late (1990-1993) Cabriolets.This particular set is in good shape. The frames and glass are top quality. The glass has a factory light-green tint to it. The hardware could use some re-freshening, but it works fine. The seals however could use some attention or replacement. They are a bit dry and are weather cracked about everywhere. But they do keep out the elements.Having said all that, the seals on these are indicative of what you will find on any other set here on ebay, unless they\'ve been replaced. These are ACTUAL photos of the frames you will get. These are not stock photos. Use the close-up feature to look at what you will be getting from me. Other sellers will try to downplay the seals by using stock photos, small photos, or only showing the back side of the windows in grainy pictures. I am not saying that what I am selling is necessarily any better, but at least you know what you will be getting.I will say however, I\'ve sold close to a hundred of these windows on ebay over the years. In fact, damn near every listing you see here has robbed my listing title or description. It\'s been re-pasted hundreds of times since I first listed a set over 15 years ago. I\'ve seen lots of these windows. The German-made seals do not hold up. The ones used on the USA-made cars (1980-1984 Rabbit, Pickup and GTI) are much better. If you can, you can reuse your old seals if you have the glue-style windows. They fit the same.
