Item was installed on my MANUAL transmission 1999 B5 Passat Wagon (check with Techtonics to see if auto trans is compatible) and was interchanged after only 4000 or so miles to comply with recent California catalytic converter requirements. (Actually passed emission test in CA in 2013 before requirements changed) Item is in good used condition. TT 2.5\" downpipe recommended for proper flow/fitment. Only premium fuel used.
