Up for sale is a set of 3 steel hardpipes I made for my 1987 starion. They have served me very well but I am going a different route with my car so these are up for sale to help fund the next changes. They are made very well using angled cuts and welded together and then ground smooth and internally ported with a die grinder in sections so the insides are smooth also. No crush bent sections at all!! They would be what others would call pie cuts but are not as small or intricate as some custom $1k+ jobs lol.. They have been painted but do have some chips in areas of contact with the body and other items here and there but do look good and could easily be repainted or powder coated. They are painted with industrial grade gloss white paint however .. They fit the factory front mount intercooler to the throttle body. The hot pipe may need to be modified for your turbo compressor outlet as I am running a 16g with a custom made adapter to connect to the pipes and it mounts low as the oem mounts upward. They start out at 2\" and go over the intake as shown and enter the intercooler with a 2- 1.75 red coupler connecting the two that is included The cold side utilizes a smaller 1.75 tube to make the twists and turns the factory one used to come out back to the bay and around the radiator and fan where a 1.75-2: 45° red coupler (included) makes the transition to the heat wrapped 2\" ovcp that connects to the throttle body with a 2\"-2.25 coupler.. The pipe also has an hks bov flange welded to it. The paint should be in good shape under the wrap. Was only trying to further insulate the pipe from engine and turbo radiant heat.
At my current bin price I\'m including all hard pipes from turbo to intercooler to engine. No intake pipe included but is listed in another action with the modified 1g mafs hidden within the short lid. All couplers and clamps are included. And one of the couplers on intercooler is black factory style coupler and a worm gear clamp yet. The HKS bov will NOT be included as I need it for my new setup. Also all these pipes have a ridge welded to the ends so that once clamped they can not and will not slide off. These worked very well and noticed a nice boost from them. I ran 20psi and the car spooled up very fast with little lag and they flow just fine and nice compact factory look race design. Easy way to make your car look more race ready or replace old rotted rubber tubes. I noticed a faster spool up and throttle response the most.
One thing I\'d like to ad is there is not a boost reference port on these pipes I chose not to tap them and instead just ran the vac line for the wg off the tb nipple right before the butterfly.
These will fit through the radiator support also as shown in factory location. But like I said will need to be modified to connect to the turbo outlet of your choice. As always I strive to list everything as best as I can or I just don\'t list it if it\'s not. I figured many would be interested in these so here is your chance at them. I have spent a lot of time and money making these. I ship as soon as I can no later than 2 business day after cleared payment. They are actually still installed but will remove when sold. Many other starion pull off parts listed and to come in my other listings. These will be individually wrapped and securely packaged and mailed fedex or priority mail promptly after payment. All clamps and couplers used will be included for the price I am asking. Making this a bolt on kit with minimum modification to the hot pipe. At most one section would need to be cut and modified to be used with factory turbo or any others.
