This auction is for a brand new Stage 2 performance hydraulic cam and lifter kit from Elgin Industries that is made in the USA. Kit includes camshaft and 16 lifters.

It fits the following big block Ford 8 cylinder engines used in Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury passenger cars and trucks.
- 370 CID (6.1L) 1979-1997
- 429 CID (7.0L) 1968-1998
- 460 CID (7.5L) 1968-1999
Stage 2 Cam Features:
Elgin Stage 2 cams are designed for street, RV, and light towing applications. Good fuel economy cam with correct equipment. Modifications may be needed in computer controlled cars. Not recommended for racing applications. Maintains enough vacuum to run power brakes and accessories.
They will have a good idle quality with good low end torque and response in the 1800-2600 RPM range and good low end to mid range operating power in the 1500-4000 RPM range. Works best with stock or slightly modified engines with 9.5-1 or lower compression ratio. Small 4 barrel carburetor and small tube headers with dual exhaust will further enhance performance. Can use manual or automatic transmission with stock convertor. Stock axle ratio of 3.20-1 to 4.20-1 is best.
Recommended valve spring pressure 105 lbs. for valve on seat and 265 lbs. for valve open.
