This listing is for one brand new 2\" raise Steel Cowl Induction Hood, part#4062-200-811, made by Goodmark. This hood is designed to fit the1981-1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This hood is brand new from the factory. It has never been used or installed.
Goodmark steel hoods are made from high quality galvanized steel which is electro coated for maximum rust protection. Designed for fast, easy installation, Goodmark steel hoods utilize for vehicles existing hinges and latch assembly. All hoods feature fully finished factory style underside. Insulation pad, light, and other under hood accessories can be attached like normal.
Goodmark steel hoods arrive in a black electro coat finish. This is NOT a primer. This is a sealer put on the steel to protect against rush. All hoods will require normal prep work (test fit, sand, prime) before paint can be applied. We strongly recommend having the hood painted and installed by a qualified auto body shop.

Due to the size of this item, it must ship via Truck Freight (18 wheeler). Most freight shipments arrive to your location in 5-10 business days (2 weeks). You will have to be present at time of delivery to inspect and sign for the package. We ship in the continental United States only. No HI, AK, PR or Canada.
The standard $125 for shipping only applies to item shipped to a commercial (business) address. There is a $25 surcharge for any item shipping to a residential (home) address. Examples of a residential address include home based businsses, farms, dairies, co-ops, and any type of shop behind or beside a residential home.
The $25 surcharge must be paid in additional to the $125 before the hood will be shipped. We ask that you call us at [phone removed by eBay] to make arrangements to pay the surchage after placing the order. Your order will be held pending payment of the additional money if you do not contact us.
All freight shipment require a working telephone number. Please email us your phone number or include it in the comments section on Paypal when sending your payment. Your order will be held if we do not receive a working phone number.

At the time of delivery your will be asked to sign a piece of paper. This piece of paper is called a \"Bill of Lading\". It states that you have inspected the product for any damage and are satisfied with the condition of the product. This \"Bill of Lading\" is a carefully prepared legal document writted by the trucking companies legal department. It is writted to favor them, not you. This order will be inspected before shipment and will ship in good condition. Your order will be insured, however, the insurance ends with your signature on the \"Bill of Lading\".
DO NOT SIGN FOR THIS SHIPMENT UNTIL THE MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE BOX AND COMPLETELY INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE. Don\'t be fooled by a box that looks \"ok\". You must inspect the contents before signing the bill of lading whether the box looks damaged or not!. If there is damage on your product you must write \"FREIGHT DAMAGED\" on the bill of lading, refuse the item, and contact us immediately. We will ship a replacement product and file a damage claim with the freight carrier.
Don\'t be fooled by a box that looks \"ok\". If you sign the bill of lading without checking your order, we can not repair or replace a damaged part because your signature on the freight bill absolves the freight carrier of any and all responsibility for the damaged item(s).
