If you have a rotten shell (or a rep) and find a good early shell like the rust free South African models, there gutter rails stop short at the end and don’t curve like genuine S1, later mk3s do.
Removed from a C plate S1 many years ago.
Will obviously require welding and minor fabrication but if going for genuine look these are ideal and save a small fortune trying to get a welder to extend yours from metal as some escort owners have found out.

No, simply cut gutter rails off my ends listed (carefully with a DREMEL) then get a good welder to measure up how much you need then spot weld-fabricate in place. Simple process for any decent welder 👩🏭
