UPR Hood Letters for 2018-2021+ Ford Expedition Installation Instructions
Tools required: Tape measure, clear tape, magic marker
(Installation Tip is to never push the letters down until they are all in the perfect location)
Wash & remove dirt or residue to esure clean installation. (Prep with Rubbing Alcohol before installation)
Measure the center on the front oval emblem to give you the center of the hood.
The Explorer emblem center is the top right corner of the D in Expedition.
Now you can properly align the center of the front oval with the Expedition Lettering.
Tape the explorer alignment template in place to adjust the height and the center.
The height measures ½” up from the bottom of the hood to the bottom of each letter.
Now you can install each letter one at a time making sure they are parallel with the hood line.
The template is for letter height & left to right spacing, the letter rotation is best done by eye.
Now you can make sure each letter is installed perfectly one at a time and not all in one shot.
Only install one letter at a time and leave the rest on the adhesive backing for best results
Last is to double check all the letters to be to your liking and do not press them down until then.
Go over the installation one last time to ensure they are all in the perfect position and your done!
