NHP Exhaust Ferrari F430 Exhaust Headers, they have been in our lineup for years without one single comeback. You have probably heard about all the horror stories of factory MK1 Exhaust Headers cracking and possibly causing engine damage, those who are lucky enough to have warranty will be fine for a while but those who don’t there’s a much better alternative for really a fraction of the price. The NHP Exhaust headers are made of T304 Stainless Steel (Non-Polished), they feature a cast flange that is machined to perfection and is 14mm thick, additional plates are welded from the flange to the piping for reinforcement. These are 4 to 1 Headers and feature a 42mm diameter on the primaries going to a racing merge collector and finally to a 74mm diameter secondary pipe. Manufactured with T304 Stainless with 16 gauge walls, the NHP Exhaust Headers weigh in at 11 pounds each!
These are race headers with no PRE-CATS which dramatically improve exhaust flow, exhaust sound and results in more low end torque and additional HP. We estimate approx. 20HP gain and at least 30-40 lb./ft torque gains if not more.
Most notable customer feedbacks are, Improved sound and much more torque at lower RPM band , more power according to customer (butt seat dyno) , improved torque is mostly felt at approx. 4000 RPM, and less cabin drone with valves open!
Hardware for installation will be included, this includes both gaskets on the head side, both gaskets on the cats side and 16 fastening nuts, all these parts are original Ferrari Parts.
About Installation
Installation time when performed by a professional technician is approx. 4 hours , we highly recommend that header replacement gets done by a professional however it’s not impossible for an experienced DIY weekend mechanic to get the job done if you have the proper tools (Ratchet, extensions, sockets etc…)
Some important notes that are not outlined in the factory Ferrari workshop manual, when removing the 8 nuts per side on the head side most probably the studs will come out along with the nut, you will need to remove the nuts from the studs to re-use the studs, in the hardware kit included studs are not included, as mentioned they can be re-used. Additionally if your bolts that join the headers to the cats are badly rusted I suggest you have them replaced with better bolts made out of stainless steel, these can easily be found at any bolts/nut stores, these are not included with the hardware we include, again these may not need replacement but in the case they do upgrade to stainless.
