The strong compound materials and ribbed tread design ensure a phenomenal year round performing ability. The ribbed tread elements, with the sipe detail, boost the traction on dry, wet, and snow-covered road surfaces, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible all the time. The tread provides a high number of biting edges and optimizes year-round performance. The circumferential and lateral grooves channel water and slush away from the footprint. This allows the tire to actively resist the risk of hydroplaning on wet and snowy roads.
The ideal tread pattern is able to lower the rolling resistance throughout the performance and promote a fuel efficient drive.
