These have been designed with CAD technology and tested to meet and improve on the OEM seal that has failed on many vehicles. These are die cut from Armacell Monarch 5031 ASTMD 1056-07 2A1 Closed cell material. We feel that this material is far superior than the original. More can be found by doing a search on the Armacell 5031 material. The material is thicker than the factory material and is made to form a solid perimeter seal.
