This video includes an interview with driver Chuck Ulsch. He explains that the engine manufactures approximately 3,500-horsepower. This is accomplished using an Anderson Engineering Hemi racing engine topped with a C-Rotor rotary screw type supercharger. A Lencodrive transmission transfers all of that power to the rear differential, which is supported by a Vanishing Point Race Cars (VPRC) X-link suspension system and a Pro Anti-Rollover Kit. Finally, a set of Mickey Thompson 33X10.50 slicks put the ponies to the pavement.
We look forward to bigger and better things from this car, built by VPRC in Loganville, Georgia, as this was their initial run. A 4.11-second pass @ 188.91 is not too shabby for a first day at the track.
