The Federal Himalaya WS2 is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire boosts the controllability. The ideal tread design, with the close surface contact and the better road grip, enables the model to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle. On the other hand, the tire's directional tread design with the siping placement generates friction between the tire and the road surface. These tread elements help to reduce the braking distance by improving the braking power. The V-shaped tread pattern manages to increase the tire's performing durability. The groove pattern optimizes the pressure distribution along the tread area, which optimizes the tire's load and driving durability.
The winter performance is ensured with the winter compound and the ideal tread design. The directional tread design with the high-density siping placement and the durable winter compound work together to increase the winter weather, ice and snow grip.
