There is absolutely nothing wrong with this filter. I purchased a 2005 Goldwing that was a barn find. It had been stored well but I just ordered all the parts I knew I was going to replace as a I brought her back to life. Tires, oils, filters, etc. I bought a K&N to put in it I also ordered a new seat and and was going to change out the air filter when the seat came in. As I finally took on the air filter change out I got all the way down to the filter to discover there was a K&N already in it. By the time I got ready to tear down to the filter 30 days had passed. My return window had closed. There is nothing wrong with this filter. The bike had 22K miles on it when I bought it. It was obviously not OEM, so it was installed somewhere after new and before 22K miles.
You have a chance at a bargain here. Half the price of new.
