The design iscorrect for 1969 440 Six Pack.This is a NOS solenoid manufactured in the USA without a bracket. We add the Delco Remy style bracket (e.g.,squared bottom corners vs rounded and clear zinc vs a yellow zinc bracket)and new zinc plating. The solenoidis tested for proper operation to maintain the idle. One yearwarranty.
Chryslerinstalled the solenoidsto prevent engine after-run. The solenoid maintainsthe idle and then drops the idle speed when the key is turned off. The brass plunger can be adjustedhigher or lower. We also sell the wiring.
