*CORRECT* 1964-66 Pontiac Caution Fan Waterslide Decal for GTO, LeMans, Tempest.
Accurate reproduction for the WATERSLIDE decal that sits atop the fan finger guard on '64-'66 Pontiac Tempest, Lemans and GTOs with coolant part number 983743. This was created with all new art referencing originals for accurate fonts and decal size. Existing adhesive backed reproductions are too big and typically buckle when applied to the fan guard. These waterslides measure approximately 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" and are applied using water just like a decal from a model kit.
Note that waterslide decals are delicate and fragile, especially at this size, so absolute care must be made in applying them. A clean surface is mandatory as these are very thin decals that will show any spec of dirt under them. The factory applied these hastily in some cases sloppily so don't be discouraged. A clear coat is not required, but could be applied if desired. Instructions included.
