1962 Ford FE Galaxie tripower 3x2 setup. This is a nice, mostly complete, original setup with a matched set of carbs, a reproduction air cleaner, a new Motorcraft FA48 filter, and an original throttle bell crank. The front and rear carbs are the correct C1AE-9510-AU Galaxie tripower carbs dated 183. The center carb is the correct Galaxie C1AE-9510-AV dated 182.
I took apart the carbs and ran them through an ultrasonic cleaner several times, but I did not get real aggressive with the chemicals in case someone wanted to run them like they are instead of restoring them. The carbs are nice with no issues, and I installed new rebuild kits and adjusted everything to run as is. The only adjustments needed would be fine tuning. The intake is nice with no issues, but it could use a more extensive cleaning inside and out before running, same as the carbs to be perfect.
