Dummbo – 1,000HP Hellephant Swapped 1968 Dodge Charger

Here we go again! Menacing and loud, this is a special Mopar. Not only is it extraordinary in appearance, this beauty is rocking a supercharged HEMI that would make a NASCAR jealous. Let’s drop-in on Shawn (Autotopia) and car owner David as they treat us to a closer look before taking us along on a test drive. Buckle up!

The 1,000HP Hellephant HEMI is 426 cubic-inches of supercharged perfection. A product of Mopar Performance, the Hellephant crate motor is designed for use in older vehicles and racing applications. It is sold with all the necessary wiring, accessories and a tunable controller. The transmission is a Tremec 6-speed manual. Suspension, steering, brake and driveline upgrades abound underneath Dummbo. This old muscle car is the epitome of what it means to do a restomod right. With 950 lb.-ft. of torque, this Charger is a serious pavement pounding machine.

The color is Destroyer Gray with a black stripe (Daytona Blue accents and logo) and the bumpers have been shaved. This is an exceptional Mopar from any angle.

Without further ado, let’s take this monster for a rip!
