1935 Hot Rod Pickup 1000HP Twin Turbo Monster

The young guns at Hot Rod Brothers (HRB) Customs offer this example of their exceptional craftsmanship. These Georgia boys are churning out some incredible builds that not only look amazing – they run like a scalded dog. Take a look.

Under the hood is a Gen III Coyote motor with a set of Gen II Coyote cylinder heads. Premium engine internals include custom camshafts, a forged rotating assembly and sleeved cylinder walls. That crazy intake manifold is from Frankenstein and features integrated intercoolers. The turbochargers are Garret 68-millimeter. The entire shooting match is put together by Performance Race Engines in Cleveland, Tennessee. Oh, by the way – that’s 1,000-wheel horsepower!

The transmission is a dime piece as well. Built to withstand 1,800 ft.-lb. of torque, the 6-speed sequentially shifted 6XD gearbox is not to be overlooked. Especially since it’s made of billet aluminum. This thing is virtually indestructible.

The BG Forged wheels are painted to match the frame with titanium hardware. Unlike most customs that use air bag systems to adjust ride height, this truck incorporates hydraulic pressure. That’s an old school trick from a couple of young bucks. The four-wheel disc brake setup is from Wilwood. Wait until you see the interior.

At first glance, this truck appears to be just a vintage hot rod custom pickup. A closer look reveals many cutting-edge attributes that place it way out in front of the competition.
