This is a fully functional working unit from my 1995 Volvo 850 GLT WagonThis was a newly replaced in tank fuel pump and my car was only driven 30 milesafter it was installed. My car developed major problems with tranny, head gasket, catalytical converter & exhaust system and wheel bearingsat 230K miles. So my car was taken out of service. Since this pump had been newly installed I have removed it and have flushed itand cleaned it with 70%isopropanol rubbing alcohol to remove residual gasoline then air dried it for 2 weeks.This is a good excellent condition working unit and I am selling with a 30 day functional warranty.
This parts operation and reliability requires a correctly operating proper condition electrical system, a non-clogged fuel filter, non clogged intact fuel linesand non-clogged working throttle body and fuel manifold tube assembly, and a properly operating vehicle vaccuum system etc.Since it is a fuel delivery pump the old pump must be carefully and properly removed, the correct tubing connections and electrical connectionmade for proper operation and reliability.

The installation is relatively easy for a good mechanic approx. 1.25 hours labor time by removinga floor panel behind the passenger side rear seat and the bolted on plate. It is strongly recommended that this installation work be done by anASE and or Volvo Certified professional Mechanic because there is risk of fire and explosion during installation onto gas tanks containing any fuelor if improperly installed. The mechanic is responsible to check the entire fuel system and the vehicle electrical systems and to do proper groundingfor safe installation to avoid damage to this like new part and to avoid dangers as described. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that this part if properly installed as described.In correct installation or electrical surges due to ground faults may damage this unit or cause fire, explosion or injury. A proper certified mechanic will make sureall of these very important details are correct.
